Founded in 2021
MakeHampers was officially founded in 2021 after the corporate world changed and people started working remotely. The company founder Jay Broughton found a gap in the market for premium gifting for corporate events and the rest of the company unravelled from there. The business was brainstormed, constructed and lovingly built by a core team of 5 people working with a suppliers with 90 years of experience before we rocketed onto your screens.
The Concept
Behind the name is a simple concept - provide luxury hampers for effortless gifting across the UK. Our website and ways of working are all in aid of making sure the every day person can find the perfect present for their loved one. Our concept encompasses luxury for everyone, so we've adding elements like free next day delivery to help make these indulgent delicacies become more accessible.
The Experience
The teams experience sits in the events industry, organising experiences for thousands of customers since 2007. With 17 years of offering memorable events under our belts, the pivot into helping people find the perfect gifts for their loved ones seemed only natural. This experience coupled with a fresh outlook on the timeless hamper is why we've quickly become a favourite for ordering gifts all year round!

Doing our bit for the planet
It’s safe to say we’re all hunting for ways to be more environmentally friendly, and we take our responsibility seriously. One of the main ways we reduce our carbon footprint as a business is by using all recyclable packaging wherever possible on our hamper gifts. We also use solely national couriers with their own fleet of vehicles, companies who’ve pledged to also save our environment.
